How to disable or enable task manager in windows XP

Any time virus attack in your computer and most dangers virus disable your Task Manager on your computer. So, you must learn how to enable your task manager with several methods.

Method 1:

If your task manager is already disable you will see the following message in your window (Task manager has disable by your administrator). clip_image001

You can restore your Task Manager using group policy. Open group policy by follows this process.

Start> Run.

Type “gpedit.msc” in Run menu and press enter.

Then you see the following window on your screen.

Go to the following link

User configuration> System> Ctrl+Alt+Del Option

Then click “standard” button to view standard setting.

You should double click “remove task manager” option on your main window.

You also check the Enable or Disable check box. Hare Enable means disable your task manager, and Disable means enable your task manager. Then click apply and ok.

Your operation is complete.

You can restore your Task Manager using Registry Editor. Open Registry Editor by follows this process.

Start> Run. Type “gpedit.msc” in Run menu and press enter.

Then you go the following way step by step

HKEY_CURRENT_USER software Microsoft windows policies system

Double click on this value and set “0” (zero) to enable your task manager and set “1” to disable your task manager.

Method 3:

Just download and run it to enable or disable task manager.

When you run this file you show a message on your window. On the first window you lick “yes” button and 2nd window you click “ok” button.

Your operation is complete.

(Note: it is a simple Registry files you can download it. This file work automatically when you double click and run it. This registry file set value automatically in you registry editor program.)
