How to solve Access is denied problem while opening any local or external disc drive

When you can open any disc drive such as HDD drive or flash drive and you get this massage then you can solved this problem.


You follow this following steps carefully to solve this problems.

Step1: if you fetch this problem for opening any external devices then you can insert this disc first on your computer. Insert your disc drive into your pc, then you right click on your drive and then you click Properties option


When you click properties option then you disc properties wizard appear in your screen.

Step2: On this wizard you can go to menu bar and click Security menu.


When this screen appears in your screen then you click Edit button to go final step.

If you can’t find Security menu on your menu bar then you can follow this following note.

Important Note to show Security tab on your menu bar: Go to control panel and next go folder option menu as the following way.

Then you click Folder Options icon.

In the folder options wizard you can go menu bar and click View menu.

On this selection you must find out the Use Sharing wizard (Recommended) selection box and deselect it, and then click Apply and OK button to save you change.


Step3: on the next screen you can add user name or group name by clicking Add button.


When you click Add button then you can see a new menu on your screen.


In this window you can type Everyone and then click Ok button to add a security user permission wizard.

Step4: in this wizard you must be fill the 1st check box Full Control and then click OK button to save your change.
